ABOUT SCHILD

Reviving the legacy of the Schild brothers, renowned Swiss watchmakers since the late 1890s, the brand celebrates their innovation and precision in movement manufacturing.

Today we present a line up of watches born from the chapters of this storied and historic name.

Craftsmanship, precision, quality

The Schild brand is an important part in the foundational history of the watch industry. From the 1890s to the 1970s, movements bearing the Schild name offered up reliability, quality, and precision, and were at the heart of timepieces built by some of the most famous brands of the 20th century.

19th Century

THE BEGINNING

Adolf Schild, a talented watchmaker of the 19th and 20th centuries, founded A. Schild S.A., which became one of Switzerland's largest movement manufacturers.

Known for their reliability, these movements were marked with the "AS" logo and used by many renowned brands.

1970s

Quartz Crisis

In the 1970s, the company merged into ETA, making "AS" movements rare but still highly valued by watch enthusiasts. Despite their rarity, the popularity of these historical works remains strong among watch enthusiasts and connoisseurs worldwide.

Today

LEGACY CONTINUES

Today we present a line up of watches born from the chapters of this storied and historic name, and we pay tribute to Schild's contribution to the modern-day watch industry.
